Grief doesn’t just start at the time a loved one dies, and it doesn’t end at a prescribed amount of days or months after the death. Everyone deals with grief differently and NorthShore hospice offers a variety of bereavement services to support families while they cope and more forward.
Bereavement Services Coordinators Thom Dennis, LCPC and Jennifer Feinberg, LCSW lead a team committed to helping those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Survivors of NorthShore Hospice patients are able to receive grief support services for up to 13 month following the death of their loved one.
From individual counseling to grief support groups and workshops through referrals for out-of state family members and comprehensive grief education correspondence, hospice bereavement services are designed to provide a myriad of helpful resources.
